Everything that decides how a visiting card feels in the hand — paper weight, lamination, finish and size — explained by the press that prints them.
A business card is the cheapest brand asset a business will ever buy and the one most likely to be judged in the first two seconds. Most of that judgement happens through touch rather than design: the thickness of the board, whether the laminate feels warm or plasticky, whether the edge is clean. This page explains the choices that drive that impression, so you can specify a card properly rather than accepting whatever the shop downstairs has in stock.

How many should you order?
Digital printing carries no plate cost, so 100 cards is genuinely economical — useful when one employee joins or a designation changes. But the per-card rate falls steeply with volume: at 1,000 cards the unit price is roughly 20% lower than at 100, and at 5,000 it is roughly 38% lower. If you are ordering for a team, ask us for the rate at your quantity and at the next slab up before confirming. Buyers frequently discover that 1,500 cards cost only marginally more than 1,000.
Preparing artwork correctly
Four things cause most business card reprints. Insufficient bleed — extend any background colour 3 mm beyond the trim line, or you risk a white sliver on one edge. Text too close to the trim — keep all copy at least 4 mm inside. Low resolution — 300 DPI at final size, and a logo pulled from a website will not be adequate. And RGB colour — supply CMYK, because RGB blues and greens shift noticeably when converted for print. We check all four free of charge and email a proof before printing.
Turnaround in Hyderabad

Offset runs above 5,000 cards take three to five working days because plates must be made and ink must dry before cutting. What GSM is best for business cards?
350 GSM is the standard we recommend for most corporate visiting cards — firm enough to feel professional without being unwieldy. Choose 600 GSM double-mounted for luxury positioning, or 300 GSM when unit cost matters more than feel.
What is the standard business card size in India?
89 × 51 mm is the Indian standard and fits every common wallet and cardholder. European 85 × 55 mm is also widely used. Square 55 mm cards look distinctive but will not fit some holders.
How much does business card printing cost in Hyderabad?

What is spot UV and is it worth it?
Spot UV is a glossy varnish applied only to selected areas — typically the logo — over a matte laminated card. The contrast between matte and gloss is both visible and tactile, and because varnish covers a small area it is the most cost-effective premium finish available.
Can I get 100 business cards printed in Hyderabad?
Yes. Digital printing has no plate setup cost, so 100 cards is our standard minimum and remains economical. Same-day printing is available for artwork approved before 2 PM.
What file format should I send for business cards?
Print-ready PDF is ideal. We also accept AI, CDR, PSD and 300 DPI PNG. Include 3 mm bleed, keep text 4 mm inside the trim, use CMYK colour and either embed or outline all fonts.
Do you print double-sided business cards?
Yes, and there is usually only a small increase over single-sided since the sheet passes through anyway. The reverse is useful for a QR code, service list, map or a second language.
How long do business cards take to print?
